Magnolia
This work was begun plein air in the garden of the Governor's Residence in Harrisburg, PA, on a sunny day in October. I was inspired by this stately and sprawling magnolia, backed by a mellow brick wall and flanked by the last roses of the season.
Wool and silk fibers, wool and silk fabrics, hand painted and commercial fabrics, needlefelting, stitching, hand beadwork.
