Tall Blue Lettuce

This is my interpretation of Lactuca biennis, a native wild aster that can grow to ten feet tall.

It features a cyanotype panel on the left, and a heliographic print on the right. The leaves in the panels have hand embroidered veining. It incorporates Seminole piecing and hand-painted fabrics, and is extensively machine stitched.

Size: 37"h x 47"w

For Sale: $3,600
